“그 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며…” (사 9:7)
예수 그리스도의 교회는 단순한 조직이나 예배자들의 모임이 아닙니다. 교회는 열방에 하나님의 뜻과 계획을 집행하는 하나님의 기관입니다. 교회는 진리의 기둥과 터입니다(딤전 3:15).
하나님께서 한 나라에서 하시려는 모든 일은 그분의 몸인 교회를 통해 시작됩니다(엡 1:22-23). 그리고 당신은 그 몸의 지체입니다. “너희는 그리스도의 몸이요 지체의 각 부분이라”(고전 12:27) 이는 당신이 전 세계적이고 신성하며, 강력하고 영광과 통치권으로 가득한 일의 일부분이라는 뜻입니다.
예수님께서 “내가 이 반석 위에 내 교회를 세우리니 음부의 권세가 이기지 못하리라”(마 16:18)고 말씀하셨을 때, 그분은 지옥, 사탄, 어둠의 세력에 대한 교회의 통치권과 우위를 강조하셨습니다. 하나님은 만물을 교회의 발 아래 두셨습니다. “또 만물을 그의 발 아래에 복종하게 하시고 그를 만물 위에 교회의 머리로 삼으셨느니라 교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에서 만물을 충만하게 하시는 이의 충만함이니라”(엡 1:22-23) 얼마나 영광스러운 일입니까!
교회 안에 있는 그 누구도 약하거나 피해자로 살아서는 안 되는 이유를 아십니까? 우리는 그분의 실재, 충만, 은혜, 영광, 왕국, 능력, 성품의 나타남입니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다! 우리는 천국의 열쇠를 가지고 있습니다. 우리는 그분의 신성한 임재와 권세를 가지고 있습니다. 하나님께서는 교회를 통해 이 땅에 의를 세우시고, 천사들과 정사들에게 그분의 다양한 지혜를 나타내십니다. “이는 이제 교회로 말미암아 하늘에 있는 통치자들과 권세들에게 하나님의 각종 지혜를 알게 하려 하심이니”(엡 3:10)
교회의 한 부분으로 당신이 맡은 책임을 감당하십시오. 교회의 성장, 강건함, 확장에 기여하십시오. 에베소서 4:16은 말합니다. “그로부터 온 몸이, 각 마디의 도움을 받으며 서로 연결되고 결합되어, 각 부분이 그 일을 함으로써 사랑 안에서 스스로 자라나고 세워집니다.”(NIV 번역본) 영혼 구원에 적극적으로 참여하십시오. 영향력에 대해 생각하십시오. 당신의 세상에서 그리스도를 위해 효과적인 사람이 되십시오. 그분은 당신을 통해 세상을 바꾸기 원하십니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 나를 그리스도의 몸 안에 두셔서 전 세계를 변화시키기 위한 하나님의 전략의 중요한 일부분으로 삼아 주시니 감사합니다. 나는 나의 자리를 차지하고, 효과적으로 기능하며, 이 땅에서 하나님의 사역을 확장하는 데 기여하고, 이 땅에서 하나님의 의를 행하고, 하나님의 영광과 임재로 세상에 영향을 미칩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

We’re His Agents For Global Impact
“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end” (Isaiah 9:7).
The Church of Jesus Christ isn’t a mere organization or association of worshippers. It’s God’s agency for executing His will and agenda across the nations. The Church is the pillar and ground of Truth (1 Timothy 3:15).
Everything God wants to do in a nation, He initiates through the Church, which is His body (Ephesians 1:22-23) and you’re a member of that body: “Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular” (1 Corinthians 12:27). This means you’re part of something global and divine, something powerful, full of glory and dominion.
When Jesus said I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it, He emphasized the dominion and supremacy of the Church over hell, Satan and the forces of darkness. God put all things under the feet of the Church: “And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all” (Ephesians 1:22-23). How glorious this is!
Can you see why no one in the Church should be a weakling or live as a victim? We’re the expressions of His reality, of His fullness, His grace, glory, Kingdom, power and personality. Glory to God! We hold the keys. We carry His divine presence and authority. Through the Church, God enforces righteousness in the earth and unveils His manifold wisdom to angelic beings and principalities: “To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God” (Ephesians 3:10).
Take your place in the Church; contribute to its growth, strength, and expansion. Ephesians 4:16 (NIV) says, “From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Participate actively in soul-winning. Think impact; be effectual for Christ in your world, for He wants to change the world through you.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for placing me in the Body of Christ to be a vital part of your strategy for global transformation. I take my place, functioning effectively and contributing to the expansion of your work on earth, enforcing your righteousness in the earth and impacting the world with your glory and presence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
