“하나님의 자녀로서 깨끗하고 순결한 삶을 살며, 구부러지고 패역한 사람들로 가득한 세상에서 밝은 빛처럼 빛나십시오.” (빌 2:15, NLT 번역본)
복음을 전하는 것은 강단이나 무대 뒤에 서서 마이크를 잡는 것만 의미하지 않습니다. 가장 크게 울려 퍼지는 설교는 종종 당신의 삶입니다. 당신이 어떻게 살고, 말하고, 반응하고, 관계를 맺는지가 사람들을 그리스도께로 이끌어야 합니다. 그것이 하나님의 목적입니다. 하나님은 이사야 60:3에서 “나라들은 네 빛으로, 왕들은 비치는 네 광명으로 나아오리라”고 말씀하셨습니다.
그리고 예수님은 마태복음 5:16에서 “이같이 너희 빛이 사람 앞에 비치게 하여 그들로 너희 착한 행실을 보고 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님께서는 당신을 살아있는 편지, 그분의 의와 은혜와 능력의 눈에 보이는 나타남으로 부르셨습니다. 타협과 혼란으로 가득 찬 세상에서 경건함에 대한 당신의 일관성은 강력한 증거가 됩니다.

이는 당신의 삶이 당신이 전하는 메시지와 일치할 때 당신의 영향력이 배가되기 때문에 중요합니다. 사랑과 진리와 겸손 가운데 행하십시오. 그리스도가 당신의 눈에서 보이고, 당신의 목소리에서 들리고, 당신의 손길에서 느껴지게 하십시오. 당신의 삶의 방식이 그리스도의 복음을 나타내게 하십시오(빌 1:27).

THE LOUDEST SERMON IS YOUR LIFE
“Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people” (Philippians 2:15 NLT)
Preaching the Gospel isn’t only or always about standing behind the pulpit or on a platform, holding a microphone. Sometimes, the loudest sermon is your life. The way you live, speak, respond, and relate should draw men to Christ; that’s God’s purpose. He said in Isaiah 60:3, “And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”
Then in Matthew 5:16, He said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” God has called you to be a living epistle, the visible expression of His righteousness, grace and power. In a world filled with compromise and confusion, your consistency in godliness becomes a compelling testimony.
People are watching you; your friends, family members, colleagues, and even strangers. Your life is a message. Even when they haven’t read the Bible, they’re able to “read” your life and see Christ, His perfection, integrity, love and compassion. So, live in the awareness and with the consciousness that you represent the Kingdom.
This is important because when your life is aligned with your message, your impact multiplies. Walk in love, truth, and humility. Let Christ be seen in your eyes, heard in your voice and felt in your touch. Let your manner of life reflect the Gospel of Christ (Philippians 1:27).
PRAYER
Dear Lord, I thank you for making me a living epistle of your grace. My life reflects your nature and inspires others to follow you. I’m a bright and shining light in my world, drawing men and women to righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
