Yielding To The Word
“또 어려서부터 성경을 알았나니 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라”(딤후 3:15)
하나님의 말씀은 우리를 구원에 이르게 하는 지혜가 됩니다. 이는 단지 영생을 받는 것에 관한 것이 아니라, 영적인 일들에 성숙해지고, 유업 안에서 어떻게 행할지 이해하고, 그리스도의 생명을 효과적으로 사는 것에 관한 것입니다. 하나님을 사랑하지만 여전히 삶에서 고군분투하는 그리스도인들이 있습니다. 그들은 자신의 삶을 다스리도록 하나님의 말씀에 자신을 내어드리지 않았기 때문입니다. 그들은 말씀이 자신의 생각을 지배하고, 사고방식을 새롭게 하고, 성품을 재형성하도록 허락하지 않았습니다.
로마서 12:2은 말합니다. “너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라” 하나님의 말씀에 자신을 내어드릴 때, 당신의 삶에 영광에서 영광으로 계속되는 변화가 일어납니다. 따라서 “나는 구원을 받았으니 이제 끝났다”고 말하는 것은 충분하지 않습니다. 당신은 그리스도 안에서 승리하며 살기 위해 말씀 안에 거해야 합니다.
여호수아 1:8은 말합니다. “이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된 대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄하게 될 것이며 네가 형통하리라” 당신이 성경을 묵상할 때, 삶의 모든 것이 꽃을 피우게 됩니다. 성령님은 당신의 영을 비춰주셔서 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 유업을 보고 이해하게 하십니다.
하나님의 갈망은 그분의 말씀이 모든 지혜와 영적인 이해 가운데 당신 안에 풍성히 거하는 것입니다(골 3:16). 하나님은 당신이 그분의 말씀 안에서, 말씀으로 살기 원하십니다. 누가복음 4:4은 말합니다. “… 기록된 바 사람이 떡으로만 살 것이 아니라…” 이것이 바로 당신이 이 세상의 시스템을 초월하여 사는 방법입니다. 이것이 축복, 승리, 성공의 길입니다. 바로 말씀을 행하는 것입니다. “너희는 말씀을 행하는 자가 되고 듣기만 하여 자신을 속이는 자가 되지 말라… 자유롭게 하는 온전한 율법을 들여다보고 있는 자는 듣고 잊어버리는 자가 아니요 실천하는 자니 이 사람은 그 행하는 일에 복을 받으리라”(약 1:22-25)
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 말씀은 나를 구원에 이르도록 지혜롭게 합니다. 나는 다스리도록 훈련되고, 성공하도록 준비되고, 하나님의 의를 나타내도록 조정됩니다. 나는 영적인 지혜 가운데 행하고 신성한 결과를 맺습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YIELDING TO THE WORD
“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15).
The Word of God makes us wise unto salvation. This isn’t just about receiving eternal life; it’s about becoming mature in spiritual things, understanding how to walk in your inheritance and live out the Christ-life effectively. There are Christians who love God but still struggle through life because they haven’t yielded to the Word of God to regulate their lives. They haven’t allowed the Word to condition their minds, to renew their thinking, and reculture their character.
Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” There’s a continuous transformation from glory to glory that takes place in your life as you yield yourself to the Word of God. So, it’s not enough for anyone to say, “I’ve received salvation, and that’s it”; you must continue in the Word to live victoriously in Christ.
Joshua 1:8 says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” As you meditate on the Scriptures, it causes everything about your life to blossom. The Spirit imparts light to your spirit to see and apprehend your inheritance in Christ.
God’s desire is for His Word to dwell in you richly in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 3:16). He wants you to live in and by His Word. He said in Luke 4:4, “…man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” That’s how you live above the systems of this world. That’s the path of blessings, victory and success—doing the Word: “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves…But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed” (James 1:22-25).
PRAYER
Dear Father, your Word has made me wise unto salvation. I’m trained to reign, equipped to succeed, and conditioned to manifest your righteousness. I walk in spiritual intelligence and produce divine results, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
