초자연적인 지식
Supernatural Knowledge
“그 안에는 지혜와 지식의 모든 보화가 감추어져 있느니라”(골 2:3)
몇 년 전, 한 남성이 기자회견을 열어 한 전도자의 집회에서 일어난 기적의 진위 여부에 대해 의문을 제기했습니다. 그 전도자는 태어날 때부터 눈이 먼 사람이 보게 되었다고 주장하며, 그 사람에게 넥타이 색깔을 맞춰보게 했습니다.
이 남성은 태어날 때부터 시각장애가 있어 색깔을 본 적도 없는 사람이 어떻게 배우지 않고도 색깔을 바로 구분할 수 있는지 의아해했습니다. 그래서 그 남성은 그 기적이 진짜가 아니라고 주장했습니다. 그런 기적을 가짜라고 생각하는 것은 하나님의 능력을 모르는 것입니다. 예수님은 “너희가 성경도, 하나님의 능력도 알지 못하는 고로 오해하였도다”(마 22:29)라고 말씀하셨습니다.
오늘의 본문 구절은 예수 그리스도가 모든 지혜와 지식의 화신이라고 말합니다. 맹인의 눈을 뜨게 하시는 하나님께서 태어날 때부터 맹인이었던 사람이 초자연적으로 즉시 색을 구분할 수 있게 하시는 것이 왜 이상하거나 불가능하겠습니까? 하나님께서 하신 일은 그 사람에게 지식의 은사를 주신 것입니다.
이것은 매우 중요한 성령의 은사입니다. 이 은사를 통해 당신은 이 생명의 일들을 초자연적으로 알게 됩니다. 제가 지식의 은사의 나타남을 경험한 첫 번째 일 중 하나는 영감을 통해 이전에 본 적이 없는 어떤 과일의 내부 구조를 묘사했을 때였습니다. 제가 대화하고 있던 사람은 생물학 교과서를 통해 제가 말한 내용을 확인했고, 제가 말한 모든 것이 완벽하게 옳다는 것을 확인했습니다.
제가 아는 대부분의 것은 성령님으로 말미암아 지식의 은사로 알게 된 것입니다. 많은 경우, 성경 구절들이 초자연적으로 드러납니다. 때때로 저는 원문에 있는 내용을 그냥 알게 됩니다. 이러한 것들은 자연적인 사람이 결코 얻을 수 없는 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 더 높은 축복입니다. “그렇다면 왜 많은 그리스도인들이 이 은사를 나타내지 못합니까?”
대부분의 사람들이 이에 대해 들어본 적이 없고, 어떻게 활용하는지 배워본 적이 없기 때문입니다. 죄인들이 구원에 대한 말씀을 전해 듣고 가르침을 받을 때 구원을 위한 믿음을 받고 그리스도께 나아오듯이, 우리가 이런 주제들을 가르치고 전할 때, 사람들의 마음이 신성한 지식의 전이로 열리게 됩니다. 이는 성령의 사역에 순종하는 것에 더해 신성한 지식의 전이가 일어나는 방법 중 하나입니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내 삶에 있는 성령님의 사역에 감사드립니다. 성령님은 나에게 모든 것을 가르치시고 이 세상의 일들에 대한 초자연적인 지식을 주십니다. 내 마음은 세상이 결코 이해할 수 없는 신비와 비밀을 받아들이도록 열려 있으므로 내가 알지 못하는 것은 없습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

SUPERNATURAL KNOWLEDGE
“In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3).
Some years ago, a man called a press briefing where he questioned the authenticity of a miracle that happened at an evangelist’s crusade. According to him, the evangelist claimed that someone who was born blind had begun to see, and to prove this, he made the person identify the colour of a tie.
This man wondered how someone who was born blind and never interacted with colours could immediately identify a colour without first having to learn it. He thus concluded that the miracle wasn’t real. To consider such a miracle as fake is to not know the power of God, as Jesus said: “Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God” (Matthew 22:29).
Our opening scripture says that Jesus Christ is the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge. Why would it be strange or impossible for the same God, who can open blind eyes, to enable a man who was born blind to instantly identify colours supernaturally? What God did was to impart that man with the gift of knowledge.
This is a gift of the Spirit that’s so important. By it, you supernaturally know the things of this life. One of my very first experiences of the manifestation of the gift of knowledge was when, by inspiration, I described the inside arrangement of a certain fruit I had never seen before. The person I was talking with went to a biology textbook to examine what I had said, and found everything I had said to be perfectly correct.
Most of the things I know, I know by the Spirit, through the gift of knowledge. Many times, scriptures are supernaturally unveiled to me. Sometimes, I just know what’s in the original text. These are higher blessings God has graced us with that the natural man can never attain. “But why aren’t many Christians manifesting this gift?”
It’s because most haven’t heard about it and taught how to take advantage of it. Just as sinners receive faith for salvation and come to Christ when salvation is preached and taught, when we teach or major on subjects like this, people’s minds are open for the impartation of divine knowledge. It’s one of the ways it happens in addition to yielding to the ministry of the Spirit.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life. Your Spirit teaches me all things and gives me supernatural knowledge about the things of this life. There’s nothing I cannot know because my heart is open to receive mysteries and secrets that the world can never understand, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
