진리는 하나님의 말씀입니다
Truth Is The Word Of God
“그들을 진리로 거룩하게 하옵소서 아버지의 말씀은 진리니이다” (요 17:17)
세상은 진리가 무엇인지 모릅니다. 예수님께서 빌라도 앞에 서서 진리를 증거하기 위해 왔다고 선포하셨을 때, 빌라도는 혼란스러워하며 “진리가 무엇이냐?”(요 18:38)고 물었습니다. 그러나 주 예수님은 이미 답을 주셨습니다. 진리는 하나님의 말씀입니다. 따라서 진리 안에서 산다는 것은 말씀 안에서 산다는 것이며, 진리 안에서 행한다는 것은 말씀 안에서 행한다는 것입니다.
그러므로 당신은 하나님의 진리를 가르치시는 성령님의 사역에 자신을 열어드려야 합니다. 성령님은 아버지께서 모든 진리 가운데로 당신을 인도하시기 위해 보내신 진리의 영이십니다(요 16:13). 그분은 생명, 하나님, 왕국, 당신에 관한 진리를 밝히십니다. 그분은 당신에게 생명의 실재를 드러내시고, 진리는 실재입니다.
사실은 바뀔 수 있지만 진리는 영원합니다. 진리를 의식하며 살기 위한 열쇠는 말씀을 묵상하는 것입니다. 말씀을 묵상할 때 당신의 영은 훈련되고 진리로 충만해지며 신뢰할 수 있는 인도자가 됩니다. 당신의 영에 저장된 말씀은 언제든지 사용할 수 있고, 항상 존재하며, 살아있고, 당신이 필요할 때 언제든지 수면 위로 솟아오를 준비가 되어 있습니다.
그러므로 말씀을 살아내며 진리 안에서 사십시오. 말씀을 살아낸다는 것은 말씀을 행한다는 뜻입니다. 우리는 말씀을 행하는 자들이며, 바로 거기에 축복이 있습니다. “너희는 말씀을 행하는 자가 되고 듣기만 하여 자신을 속이는 자가 되지 말라… 자유롭게 하는 온전한 율법을 들여다보고 있는 자는 듣고 잊어버리는 자가 아니요 실천하는 자니 이 사람은 그 행하는 일에 복을 받으리라”(약 1:22-25)
고백
나는 하나님의 말씀, 곧 진리 안에 살고, 진리 안에서 행하며, 날마다 진리를 묵상합니다. 그리고 진리의 영으로 말미암아 내 삶을 향한 하나님의 완전한 뜻 가운데 인도 받으며, 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 나의 유업과 축복과 신성한 실재를 인식하며 의의 일들과 열매들을 나타냅니다. 아멘.

TRUTH IS THE WORD OF GOD
“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth” (John 17:17).
The world doesn’t know what truth is. In fact, when Jesus stood before Pilate and declared that He came to bear witness to the truth, Pilate was confused and asked, “What is truth?” (John 18:38). But the Lord Jesus already gave the answer; truth is the Word of God. To live in the truth, therefore, is to live in the Word just as walking in the truth is walking in the Word.
That’s why you must open yourself to the ministry of the Holy Spirit to teach you God’s truths. He’s the Spirit of truth sent by the Father to guide you into all truth (John 16:13). He unveils the truth about life, about God, about the Kingdom, and about you. He unveils the realities of life to you, and truth is reality.
Facts may change, but truth is eternal. And the key to becoming truth-conscious is meditating on the Word. As you meditate on the Word, your spirit is trained and filled with truth, making it a trustworthy guide. The Word you’ve deposited into your spirit becomes readily available, always present, always alive and ready to rise to the surface whenever you need it.
Therefore, live in the truth by living the Word. Living the Word is doing the Word. We’re Word practitioners, and that’s where the blessing is: “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves…But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed” (James 1:22-25).
CONFESSION
I live in the truth, walk in the truth, and meditate daily on the truth—God’s Word. And by the Spirit of truth, I’m guided in God’s perfect will for my life, manifesting fruits and works of righteousness as I live in the consciousness of my heritage, blessings and divine realities in Christ Jesus. Amen.
