예수님의 주되심에 대한 의식
The Consciousness Of His Lordship
“지금 내가 여러분을 주와 및 그 은혜의 말씀에 부탁하노니 그 말씀이 여러분을 능히 든든히 세우사 거룩하게 하심을 입은 모든 자 가운데 기업이 있게 하시리라” (행 20:32)
이제 당신은 그리스도 안에 있으므로 완전히 새로운 생명, 곧 예수님의 주되심 아래 있는 생명입니다. 그러나 많은 그리스도인들은 일상생활에서 그분의 주되심을 온전히 인식하지 못합니다. 예수 그리스도가 당신의 삶의 주님이시라고 말한다면, 그분의 말씀이 당신의 삶에서 최고의 권위를 갖는다는 뜻입니다.
그리스도의 주되심은 먼저 말씀의 주되심으로 나타납니다. 당신은 말씀의 권위에 복종하지 않고서는 그분의 주되심 안에서 기능할 수 없습니다. 성경은 말씀을 “그분의 은혜의 말씀”이라고 부릅니다. 이 말씀이 당신의 삶을 세우고, 당신을 강건케 하고, 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 유업 가운데 당신을 세웁니다.
이것이 바로 당신이 아무 곳에나 있을 수 없고, 아무 말이나 들을 수 없는 이유입니다. 모든 설교가 성장을 만드는 것은 아닙니다. 그분의 은혜의 말씀은 그리스도를 나타내고, 그분의 완성된 사역을 드러내며, 믿음과 담대함과 당신의 유업에 대한 인식을 줍니다. 이것이 당신이 예수님의 주되심 아래 효과적으로 기능할 수 있도록 힘을 줍니다.
그러므로 말씀의 권위 아래 영원히 살기로 결단하십시오. 말씀에 더 많이 순종할수록 당신의 삶에서 그분의 영광이 드러나도록 그분의 주되심을 인식하며 기능하게 될 것입니다.
고백
나는 하나님의 말씀의 권위에 완전히 복종합니다. 하나님의 은혜의 말씀은 나를 세우고, 강건케 하고, 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 유업 가운데 내가 있게 합니다. 나는 하나님의 말씀을 행하는 자이므로 성장하고, 전진하고, 점점 더 증가하는 하나님의 영광을 나타냅니다. 하나님의 말씀은 나의 생명이자 나의 전부입니다. 할렐루야!

THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF HIS LORDSHIP
“And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified” (Acts 20:32).
Now that you’re in Christ, it’s a new life altogether, a life under the Lordship of Jesus. Yet, many Christians are not fully conscious of His Lordship in their everyday life. When you say Jesus Christ is Lord of your life, it means that His Word has become the supreme authority in your life.
The Lordship of Christ is expressed first in the Lordship of His Word. You cannot function in His Lordship without submitting to the authority of His Word. That Word is described in Scripture as “the Word of His grace”; that’s what builds you up in life, strengthens you, and establishes you in the inheritance that belongs to you in Christ.
This is why you can’t afford to be in just any place, listening to just anything. Not every sermon produces growth. The Word of His grace reveals Christ, unveils His finished work, and imparts faith, boldness and the consciousness of your inheritance. That’s what empowers you to function effectively in the Lordship of Jesus.
So, make up your mind to live perpetually under the authority of the Word. The more you submit to the Word, the more you’ll function in the consciousness of His Lordship for His glory to be revealed in your life in ever-increasing measure.
CONFESSION
I’m fully yielded to the authority of God’s Word, the Word of His grace that builds me, strengthens me, and positions me in my inheritance in Christ. I’m growing, making progress, and manifesting the glory of God in ever-increasing measure because I’m a doer of the Word. The Word of God is my life and my all. Hallelujah!
