“하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 얼마나 풍성한지를 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라” (골 1:27)
진정한 기독교는 당신 안에 있는 말씀이 밖으로 나타나는 것입니다. 당신이 말할 때, 그 말은 말씀입니다. 당신이 행동할 때, 그 행동은 말씀입니다. 그리스도인은 본질적으로 말씀의 표현 또는 형상입니다. 따라서 당신이 걷는 모든 걸음과 하는 모든 일은 하나님의 말씀이 밖으로 나타나는 것입니다.
예수님이 이 땅에 계실 때 그분은 말씀의 나타남이셨습니다. “말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매…”(요 1:14) 예수님은 하나님의 나타남이셨습니다. 그분의 본체의 형상이셨습니다. 따라서 당신의 삶은 말씀의 나타남입니다. 당신이 동일한 말씀으로 태어났기 때문입니다. “너희가 거듭난 것은 썩어질 씨로 된 것이 아니요 썩지 아니할 씨로 된 것이니 살아 있고 항상 있는 하나님의 말씀으로 되었느니라”(벧전 1:23)
고린도후서 3장 3절은 당신이 그리스도의 편지로 분명히 선포되었다고 말합니다. “너희는 우리로 말미암아 나타난 그리스도의 편지니 이는 먹으로 쓴 것이 아니요 오직 살아 계신 하나님의 영으로 쓴 것이며 또 돌판에 쓴 것이 아니요 오직 육의 마음판에 쓴 것이라” 그리스도의 편지는 그리스도의 말씀입니다.
우리가 하나님의 영광의 광채이고, 하나님의 의의 나타남인 것은 당연합니다. 당신이 나타날 때 그리스도가 나타나십니다. 그분이 그러하심과 같이 당신도 이 세상에서 그러합니다(요일 4:17). 당신은 어디에서나 그분의 지식, 지혜, 은혜, 능력의 향기를 드러냅니다(고후 2:14). 하나님을 송축합니다! 당신은 오늘날 당신의 세상에서 살아있는 그리스도입니다. 그분은 당신을 통해 세상에 그분의 사랑, 능력, 긍휼, 은혜를 나타내십니다. 이러한 의식을 가지십시오.
고백
사랑하는 아버지, 나를 모든 사람이 알고 읽는 하나님의 살아있는 편지로 만들어 주시니 감사합니다. 내 삶은 그리스도의 영광의 표현입니다. 신성한 생명이 나를 통해 나타나고, 나는 복음을 통해 다른 사람들을 이 생명 안으로 인도합니다. 하나님의 지식, 은혜, 능력, 지혜, 의가 나를 통해 나타납니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE OUTWORKING OF THE WORD IN YOU
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).
True Christianity is the out-working of the Word in you. When you talk, it’s the Word; when you act, it’s the Word. The Christian, essentially, is the expression or the image of the Word, such that every step you take, and all the things you do are the out-workings of the Word of God.
That’s what Jesus was when He walked the earth; He was the unveiling of the Word: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” (John 1:14). He was the manifestation of God; the express image of His person. Thus, your life is the revelation of the Word, because you’ve been born of the same Word: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” (1 Peter 1:23).
2 Corinthians 3:2-3 says that you’ve been manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ: “… Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.” The epistle of Christ is the Word of Christ.
No wonder we’re the effulgence of His glory, the manifestation of His righteousness. When you show up, Christ shows up. As He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). You make manifest the savour of His knowledge, wisdom, grace and power, in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14). Blessed Be God! You’re Christ alive in your world today. He manifests His love, power, compassion, and grace to the world through you. Have this consciousness.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making me your living epistle, known and read by all men. My life is the expression of the glory of Christ. The divine life is manifested through me, and I bring others into this life through the Gospel. Your knowledge, grace, power, wisdom and righteousness are unveiled in, and through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
