He Took Your Blame
“전에 악한 행실로 멀리 떠나 마음으로 원수가 되었던 너희를 이제는 그의 육체의 죽음으로 말미암아 화목하게 하사 너희를 거룩하고 흠 없고 책망할 것이 없는 자로 그 앞에 세우고자 하셨으니”(골 1:21-22)
주님은 얼마나 은혜롭고 사랑이 많으신지요. 그분이 실제로 당신의 실수에 대한 책임을 지셨다는 것을 생각해 보십시오! 그분은 당신의 죄에 대한 책임을 지셨습니다. 당신이 저지른 끔찍한 일들에 대해 스스로를 탓할 필요가 없습니다. 하나님께서 모든 책임을 주 예수님께 지우셨기 때문입니다.
예수님이 십자가에 달리셨을 때, 당신의 과거, 현재, 미래의 모든 죄와 실수가 완전히 사해졌습니다. 그러므로 오늘날 사탄이나 다른 사람들이 당신을 비난하거나 당신이 스스로를 비난하더라도 달라지는 것은 없습니다. 당신을 향한 심판은 없습니다. 성경은 “그러므로 이제 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 자에게는 결코 정죄함이 없나니 이는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 너를 해방하였음이라”(롬 8:1-2)고 말합니다.
어떤 사람들은 잘못을 저지르면 자신을 용서하기 어려워하고 죄책감과 후회에 빠집니다. 그러지 마십시오! 주 예수님을 믿고 그분이 당신을 위해 이루신 일을 믿으십시오. 자신을 탓하는 것을 멈추십시오. 성경은 말합니다. “전에 악한 행실로 멀리 떠나 마음으로 원수가 되었던 너희를 이제는 그의 육체의 죽음으로 말미암아 화목하게 하사 너희를 거룩하고 흠 없고 책망할 것이 없는 자로 그 앞에 세우고자 하셨으니”(골 1:21-22)
생각해 보십시오! 하나님은 당신이 잘못한 일이 없다고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다. 오히려 당신이 잘못한 모든 일에도 불구하고 하나님은 당신에게 화를 내지 않으셨습니다. 그분은 당신을 그분과 화해시키셨습니다. 그분은 당신을 의롭고, 거룩하고, 깨끗하고, 영화롭게 만드셨습니다. 이것이 기독교입니다. 이것이 복음입니다. 이것이 바로 하나님께서 우리를 세상에 보내서 전하게 하신 메시지입니다. 그분은 사람들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 않으십니다. “곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며 그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고 화목하게 하는 말씀을 우리에게 부탁하셨느니라”(고후 5:19)
값은 이미 치러졌습니다. 죄책감은 사라졌습니다. 믿는 모든 사람은 하나님의 의와 평강과 기쁨 안에서 영원히 살 자유가 있습니다. 로마서 5:8-10은 말합니다. “우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로… 곧 우리가 원수 되었을 때에 그의 아들의 죽으심으로 말미암아 하나님과 화목하게 되었은즉 화목하게 된 자로서는 더욱 그의 살아나심으로 말미암아 구원을 받을 것이니라” 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 말씀의 놀라운 진리에 감사드립니다. 나는 예수님이 나의 죄를 가져가셨기 때문에 기뻐합니다. 이제 나는 죄책감, 정죄감, 비난에서 자유롭게 삽니다. 나는 하나님의 눈에 거룩하고, 흠이 없고, 책망할 것이 없는 자입니다. 나는 하나님의 임재 안에서 의롭고, 거룩하고, 영화롭게 살며, 하나님의 은혜의 자유를 기뻐합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE TOOK YOUR BLAME
“And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight” (Colossians 1:21-22).
How gracious and loving the Lord is; to think that He actually took responsibility for your errors! He took responsibility for your sins. All that time you were blaming yourself for something terrible that you did, you actually didn’t have to, because God put all the blame on the Lord Jesus.
When He hung on the Cross, all your sins and mistakes; past, present and future were fully remitted. So, today, even when Satan and others blame you, or you blame yourself, it makes no difference. There’s no judgement against you, for the Bible says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit” (Romans 8:1).
There’re people who, when they do something wrong, find it difficult to forgive themselves, sinking into guilt and regret. No! Believe in the Lord Jesus and what He accomplished for you. Stop blaming yourself. The Bible says, “And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight” (Colossians 1:21-22).
Think about it! He didn’t say you never did anything wrong; rather, in spite of all the wrong things you’ve done, He’s not mad at you. He reconciled you to Himself. He made you righteous, holy, sanctified, glorified and justified. That’s Christianity. That’s the Gospel. That’s the message He sent us to tell the world; that He’s not holding men’s sins against them: “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them.” (2 Corinthians 5:19).
The price has been paid. The guilt has been lifted. Everyone who believes is free to live in God’s righteousness, peace, and joy forevermore. Romans 5:8-10 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us…For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.” Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the wonderful truth of your Word. I rejoice because Jesus took my blame; now I live free from guilt, condemnation and accusation. I’m holy, unblameable, and unreproveable in your sight. I live in your presence justified, sanctified and glorified, rejoicing in the liberty of your grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
