복음에 당신의 열정을 두십시오
Let The Gospel Be Your Passion
“내가 복음을 부끄러워하지 아니하노니 이 복음은 모든 믿는 자에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력이 됨이라 먼저는 유대인에게요 그리고 헬라인에게로다” (롬 1:16)
예수 그리스도의 복음은 구원하고, 치유하고, 구출하고, 삶을 변화시키는 하나님의 능력입니다. 그렇기 때문에 복음은 당신이 이해하고, 그에 따라 살고, 다른 사람들과 나누기 위해 불타는 열정을 가져야 하는 메시지입니다. 특히 주님의 재림이 우리가 알던 것보다 더 가까워졌기 때문에 더욱 그렇습니다.
사도 바울은 복음을 부끄러워하지 않는다고 선포했습니다. 이 말은 깊은 확신과 흔들리지 않는 헌신에서 나온 말입니다. 그에게 복음을 전파하는 것은 선택이 아닌 삶 그 자체였습니다. 그는 복음을 위해 살았고 복음의 전진을 위해 기꺼이 죽을 준비가 되어 있었습니다.
사도행전 20:22-27에 나오는 영감을 주고 심금을 울리는 말씀을 읽어보십시오. “보라 이제 나는 성령에 매여 예루살렘으로 가는데 거기서 무슨 일을 당할는지 알지 못하노라 오직 성령이 각 성에서 내게 증언하여 결박과 환난이 나를 기다린다 하시나 내가 달려갈 길과 주 예수께 받은 사명 곧 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 증언하는 일을 마치려 함에는 나의 생명조차 조금도 귀한 것으로 여기지 아니하노라 보라 내가 여러분 중에 왕래하며 하나님의 나라를 전파하였으나 이제는 여러분이 다 내 얼굴을 다시 보지 못할 줄 아노라 그러므로 오늘 여러분에게 증언하거니와 모든 사람의 피에 대하여 내가 깨끗하니 이는 내가 꺼리지 않고 하나님의 뜻을 다 여러분에게 전하였음이라”
오늘날 우리 세상에는 많은 박해가 있으며, 복음에 대한 담대함으로 인해 종종 비판, 무관심, 심각한 위협에 직면할 수 있습니다. 그러나 당신은 그 모든 것을 이겨내야 합니다. 거절이나 죽음에 대한 두려움이 당신의 목소리를 잠재우지 않게 하십시오. 편안함이 당신을 안일하게 만들지 않도록 하십시오. 세상은 예수님을 필요로 하며, 당신의 삶을 바꾼 그 동일한 복음이 그들의 유일한 소망입니다.
복음이 당신의 생각, 말, 추구하는 바를 지배하게 하십시오. 영혼을 구원하고 천국을 가득 채우는 일을 당신의 야망으로 삼으십시오. 그것이 진정으로 중요한 일입니다. 당신이 복음을 전할 때마다 듣는 사람들의 삶에 영향을 미치고 변화를 일으키는 신성한 능력을 풀어놓습니다. 당신이 말할 때 듣지 않는 척하거나 메시지에 반항적으로 행동하는 사람들조차도 언젠가는 그들의 마음에 말씀이 심어지면서 그 능력에 굴복할 것입니다. 그러므로 복음을 전파하는 일을 멈추지 마십시오. 당신이 만나는 모든 영혼은 영원한 승리이기 때문입니다.
기도
귀하신 아버지, 나에게 복음을 맡겨 주셔서 감사합니다. 성령의 능력과 다스림 안에서 복음을 전할 수 있는 담대함과 열정을 주시니 감사합니다. 나는 다른 사람들과 하나님의 사랑과 진리를 나눌 수 있는 모든 기회를 붙잡고, 그들의 삶을 하나님의 구원하시는 능력의 좋은 소식으로 변화시킵니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

LET THE GOSPEL BE YOUR PASSION
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth…” (Romans 1:16).
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform lives. That’s why it must be a message you understand, live by, and burn with passion to share with others especially as the coming of the Lord draws nearer than we’ve ever known.
Paul the Apostle declared that he was not ashamed of the Gospel. That statement came from a place of deep conviction and unwavering commitment. For him, preaching the Gospel wasn’t optional but life itself. He lived for the Gospel and was willing to die for its advancement.
Read His inspiring and heart-stirring words in Acts 20:22-27, “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more. Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
In our world today, persecutions are many, and boldness in the Gospel can often be met with criticism, indifference and severe threats. But you must rise above that. Don’t let the fear of rejection or of death, silence your voice. Don’t let comfort make you complacent. The world needs Jesus and the same Gospel that changed your life is their only hope.
Let the Gospel dominate your thoughts, your words, and your pursuits. Make it your ambition to win souls and populate heaven. That’s what truly matters. Every time you share the Gospel, you release divine power that impacts and transforms the lives of your listeners. Even those who pretend not to be listening while you speak or act defiantly to the message, will one day succumb to its power as the Word is sown in their hearts. So, preach the Gospel undeterred, for every soul you reach is a victory for eternity.
PRAYER
Precious Father, I thank you for entrusting me with the Gospel. Thank you for your boldness and passion to preach the Gospel in the power and dominion of the Spirit. I seize every opportunity to share your love and truth with others, transforming their lives with the good news of your saving power, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
