You Were Born For This
“… 네가 왕후의 자리를 얻은 것이 이때를 위함이 아닌지 누가 알겠느냐” (에 4:14)
우리가 방금 읽은 구절은 모르드개가 에스더에게 유대인을 말살하려는 하만의 흉악하고 교활한 계획에 맞서도록 결단하게 한 내용의 일부입니다. 에스더는 모르드개가 그녀의 눈을 뜨게 할 때까지 자신이 신성한 계획의 일부라는 것을 몰랐습니다. 그녀가 왕비가 된 것은 안락함을 위한 것이 아니라 어떤 목적을 위한 것이었습니다. 당신에게도 동일하게 적용됩니다.
당신의 삶에는 우연한 일이 없습니다. 예정하심이 당신 안에서 역사하고 있습니다. 당신의 탄생, 위치, 왕국에서의 임무는 모두 신성하게 계획되었습니다. 당신은 이와 같은 때에 태어났고, 하나님의 영광을 위해 당신의 세상에 영향력을 끼치도록 하나님에 의해 전략적으로 배치되었습니다.
하나님께서는 당신을 영혼 구원자이자 왕국의 대사로 가정, 직장, 도시, 국가에 두셨습니다. 당신의 교육, 재능, 자원, 성격 등 당신에 관한 모든 것은 왕국을 위해 사용되도록 주어졌습니다. 필요할 때 목소리를 내는 것을 주저하지 마십시오. 복음을 위해 목소리를 내고, 입장을 밝히고, 믿음 안에서 전진해야 할 때 두려워서 물러서지 마십시오. 그리스도를 위해 살고 당신을 향한 그분의 목적을 성취하십시오.
고린도후서 5:15은 말합니다. “그가 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽으심은 살아 있는 자들로 하여금 다시는 그들 자신을 위하여 살지 않고 오직 그들을 대신하여 죽었다가 다시 살아나신 이를 위하여 살게 하려 함이라” 그리스도의 구원의 복음을 열정적으로 전하는 일을 방해받거나 저지받는 일이 없게 하십시오. 그것이 이 땅에서 당신의 가장 중요한 일입니다. “모든 것이 하나님께로서 났으며 그가 그리스도로 말미암아 우리를 자기와 화목하게 하시고 또 우리에게 화목하게 하는 직분을 주셨으니”(고후 5:18)
당신의 빛이 가장 중요한 장소와 시간에 빛나게 하십시오. 에스더처럼 “죽으면 죽으리이다”라고 담대하게 선포해야 합니다. 주님을 위해 살고, 그분의 뜻과 목적을 성취하는 것이 모든 것을 걸만한 가치가 있기 때문입니다. 당신은 이를 위해 훈련받고 부름 받았습니다. 이제 바울처럼 행동하고 말해야 할 때입니다. “내가 달려갈 길과 주 예수께 받은 사명 곧 하나님의 은혜의 복음을 증언하는 일을 마치려 함에는 나의 생명조차 조금도 귀한 것으로 여기지 아니하노라”(행 20:24)

사랑하는 아버지, 이때를 위해 나를 선택하시고 세워주셔서 감사합니다. 나는 담대하고, 준비되어 있고, 내 삶을 향한 하나님의 목적을 이루고자 합니다. 나는 내 빛이 밝게 빛나고, 내가 가는 곳마다 왕국을 위한 영원한 영향력을 끼친다고 선포합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YOU WERE BORN FOR THIS
“…And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this” (Esther 4:14 NIV).
The verse we just read is part of the words with which Mordecai challenged Esther to take a stand against the heinous and devious plan of Haman to annihilate the Jews. Esther didn’t know she was part of a divine setup until Mordecai opened her eyes. Her position as queen wasn’t for comfort; it was for a purpose. The same is true of you.
There’s nothing accidental about your life. Predestination is at work in you. Your birth, your placement, and your assignment in the Kingdom are all divinely orchestrated. You were born for such a time as this, strategically positioned by God to influence and impact your world for His glory.
God placed you in your family, workplace, city, and nation as a soul winner and Kingdom ambassador. Everything about you—your education, talents, resources, and personality—has been given to you for Kingdom use. Don’t withhold your voice when it’s needed. Don’t retreat in fear when you’re meant to speak up and take a stand for the Gospel and advance in faith. Live unto Christ and fulfil His purpose for your life.
2 Corinthians 5:15 says, “And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” Let nothing hinder or deter you from passionately spreading the good news of Christ’s salvation. That’s your number one job in the earth: “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18).
Let your light shine where and when it matters most. Like Esther, you must boldly declare, “If I perish, I perish,” because living for the Lord, fulfilling His will and purpose is worth everything. You’ve been trained and called to this. Now is the time to act and say like Paul, “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God” (Acts 20:24).
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for choosing and positioning me for such a time as this. I am bold, ready, and willing to fulfil your purpose for my life. I declare that my light shines brightly, and I make lasting impact for the Kingdom wherever I go, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
