Respond Promptly To His Voice
“광야에서 시험하던 날에 거역하던 것 같이 너희 마음을 완고하게 하지 말라”(히 3:8)
성령님과 매우 깊고 집중적인 관계를 맺는 것은 당신의 영적 성장과 성숙에 필수적입니다. 성령님은 당신 안에 거하시고, 당신을 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하고 이끄십니다. 그분의 음성을 인식하고 적절하게 반응하는 것은 당신이 그분과 동행하는 방식을 변화시킬 것이며, 당신의 삶을 향한 그분의 목적을 영광스럽게 성취하도록 도울 것입니다.
어쩌면 당신은 누군가와 대화를 나눈 후에 성령님께서 “오늘 너는 너무 많은 말을 했다. 그런 말은 하지 말았어야 했다.”고 말씀하실 수도 있습니다. 그저 당신의 생각이라고 치부하지 마십시오. 그 간단한 교정도 진지하게 받아들이고 성령님께 감사하십시오. 그렇게 할 때, 당신은 자신의 삶에서 성령님의 사역이 풍성해지도록 하는 것입니다.
어떤 사람들은 성령님의 인도를 무시하고 결국 어려움에 처합니다. 그러나 성령님의 갈망은 항상 당신 앞에 도사리고 있는 모든 위험을 피하도록 돕는 것입니다. 이사야 30:21은 말합니다. “너희가 오른쪽으로 치우치든지 왼쪽으로 치우치든지 네 뒤에서 말소리가 네 귀에 들려 이르기를 이것이 바른 길이니 너희는 이리로 가라 할 것이며” 오늘날 그 음성은 당신의 뒤에 있지 않고 당신 안에 있습니다.
당신이 해야 할 일과 하지 말아야 할 일을 알려주시는 성령님의 음성을 들을 때 신속하게 행동하십시오. 성령님의 음성을 인식하고 반응하도록 자신을 훈련하십시오. 성령님은 말씀에 일치하는 인도와 방향을 주시기 때문에 그분의 음성을 아는 것은 쉽습니다. 성령님이 당신에게 말씀하시는 모든 것은 말씀과 일치합니다.
안타깝게도 어떤 사람들은 계속해서 성령님의 음성을 거부하고 무시합니다. 그 결과는 정체와 실패입니다. 그들은 몇 달이 지나도 그대로이며, 발전 없는 순환에 갇혀 있습니다. 그들의 영적 행보는 미성숙합니다. 영적 성숙은 성령님께 민감한 것으로 나타납니다.
성숙한 그리스도인은 성령님의 교정과 지시에 빠르게 순종합니다. 그들은 효과적인 그리스도인의 삶과 영적 성장을 위해 성령님의 인도가 필수적이라는 것을 이해합니다. 그러므로 그들은 성령님의 인도와 음성에 겸손하게 빠르게 반응합니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 말씀과 음성에 민감한 마음을 주셔서 감사합니다. 나는 성령님의 인도와 내적 음성을 통해 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 운명을 성취하며 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 탁월한 삶을 삽니다. 내가 성령님과 동행하며 성숙함, 은혜, 목적 안에서 성장할 때, 하나님의 지혜가 내 마음을 가득 채우고, 하나님의 사랑이 나를 통해 자유롭게 흘러갑니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

RESPOND PROMPTLY TO HIS VOICE
“Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness” (Hebrews 3:8).
Cultivating a very rich and focused relationship with the Holy Spirit is essential for your spiritual growth and maturity. The Holy Spirit lives in you; He guides and leads you into all truth. Recognizing His voice and responding appropriately would transform your walk with Him and help you fulfil His purpose for your life gloriously.
Maybe you’ve been out talking with someone, and afterwards, the Holy Spirit says to you, “You talked too much today. You shouldn’t have said the things you said.” Don’t brush it off, thinking it’s just your mind. Take that simple correction seriously and thank Him for it. That way, you’re encouraging His ministry in your life.
Some ignore His promptings and get into trouble eventually. But His desire is always to help you avert every danger that might be lurking ahead. Isaiah 30:21 (NIV) says, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Today, that voice is not behind you; it’s inside you.
When you hear His voice within you telling you what you should do or not do, act swiftly. Train yourself to recognize and respond to His voice. It’s easy to know His voice because He gives you guidance and direction in line with the Word. Everything He tells you sides with the Word.
Sadly, some continue to resist and ignore His voice. The result of that is stagnation and failure. Month after month, they remain the same, stuck in a cycle without progress; immature in their spiritual walk. Spiritual maturity is marked by sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
Mature Christians yield quickly to His correction and instruction. They understand that the Spirit’s guidance is vital for effective Christian living and spiritual growth. Therefore, they respond quickly to His guidance and voice with humility. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for giving me a heart that’s sensitive to your Word and to your voice. Through the guidance and promptings of the Holy Spirit, I live an excellent life that’s fully pleasing to you as I fulfil my destiny in Christ. Your wisdom fills my heart, and your love flows freely through me as I walk in sync with the Spirit, growing in maturity, grace, and purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
