Everything Is In Him
“… 이는 주께서 주의 말씀을 주의 모든 이름보다 높게 하셨음이라” (시 138:2)
어떤 그리스도인들은 여호와 이레, 여호와 라파 등의 이름을 사용하여 기도합니다. 이는 구약에서 배운 하나님의 이름에 대한 다양한 계시를 바탕으로 한 것입니다. 그러나 구약의 이름들이 의미하는 모든 능력, 영광, 권세가 예수님 안에 완전하게 존재함을 깨닫는 것이 중요합니다. 예수님을 안다면 다른 이름이 필요하지 않습니다.
신성의 총체가 예수님 안에 완전하게 영구적으로 거합니다. 성령님께서는 사도 바울을 통해 골로새서 2:9에서 이를 계시하셨습니다. “그 안에는 신성의 모든 충만이 육체로 거하시고” 요한복음 1:1, 14은 말합니다. “태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라… 말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매 우리가 그의 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라”
주 예수님은 살아있는 말씀이십니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 하나님께서 그분의 이름의 모든 계시보다 말씀을 더 높이셨음을 읽었습니다. 그 말씀이 바로 예수님입니다. 당신은 치유를 위해 여호와 라파를 부를 필요가 없습니다. 예수님이 당신의 치유자이십니다. 당신은 공급을 위해 여호와 이레를 부를 필요가 없습니다. 예수님이 당신의 공급자이십니다. 예수님은 그 모든 이름의 화신이자 성취이십니다.
주 예수님이 어떤 분이신지 아십시오. 예수님은 “너희가 성경에서 영생을 얻는 줄 생각하고 성경을 연구하거니와 이 성경이 곧 내게 대하여 증언하는 것이니라”(요 5:39)고 말씀하셨습니다. 그분을 알 때 하나님을 아는 것입니다. 당신은 모든 것을 발견한 것입니다. 그분이 모든 것이기 때문입니다. 영생, 신성한 건강, 치유, 번영, 평안, 의, 지혜, 힘, 모든 것이 그분 안에 있습니다. 그분의 이름에 영원히 영광을 드립니다!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 하나님의 영광을 계시해 주셔서 감사합니다. 예수님은 나의 전부이십니다. 그분은 나의 생명, 의, 평안, 건강, 공급자이십니다. 나는 주님의 충만함, 축복, 왕국 안에 살고 있습니다. 그분이 내 안에 사시기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

EVERYTHING IS IN HIM
“Thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name” (Psalm 138:2).
Some Christians pray using names like Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Rapha, and others—drawing from the different revelations of God’s names they learnt from the Old Testament. It’s however important to realize that all the power, glory and authority that those Old Testament names signify are fully present in Jesus. If you know Jesus, you don’t need all those other names.
The totality of deity, fully and permanently resides in Jesus. The Spirit, through the apostle Paul, reveals this in Colossians 2:9, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” John 1:1, 14 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
The Lord Jesus is the living Word, and we read in our opening scripture that God has magnified His Word above all the revelations of His Name, and that Word is Jesus. You don’t need to call on Jehovah Rapha for healing; Jesus is your healer. You don’t need to call on Jehovah Jireh for provision; Jesus is your provider. He’s the embodiment and fulfilment of all those names.
So get to know who the Lord Jesus is. He said, “Search the Scriptures; they testify of me” (John 5:39). When you know Him, you know God; you’ve found everything, for He’s everything. Eternal life, divine health, healing, prosperity, peace, righteousness, wisdom, strength—everything is in Him. Glory to His Name forever!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the unveiling of your glory in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus is everything to me; He’s my life, my righteousness, my peace, my health, and my provider. I live in the fullness of Him, of His blessings and of His Kingdom, because He lives in me. Hallelujah!
