언약의 자비를 운반하는 자들
Carriers Of Covenant Kindness
“… 땅 위의 모든 족속이 너의 씨로 말미암아 복을 받으리라 하셨으니”(행 3:25)
하나님께서 아브라함을 부르시고 축복하셨을 때, 그 축복은 인류의 모든 세대를 위한 것이었습니다. 주님은 “또 네 씨로 말미암아 천하 만민이 복을 받으리니”(창 22:18)라고 선포하셨습니다. 우리가 이전 말씀의 실재에서 공부했듯이, 그 씨는 그리스도이며 그리스도 안에 있는 모든 사람은 그 축복에 참여합니다.
베드로는 성령으로 말미암아 유대인들에게 “너희는 선지자들의 자손이요 또 하나님이 너희 조상과 더불어 세우신 언약의 자손이라”(행 3:25)고 말했습니다. 베드로는 그들의 신성한 유산, 즉 아브라함과 맺은 하나님의 언약의 상속자라는 점에 주목했습니다. 그리스도를 통해 이 언약은 이방인, 즉 예수 그리스도를 믿는 믿음으로 하나님께 나아오는 모든 사람에게까지 확장되었습니다.
더욱이 이 언약은 단지 받는 것에 관한 것이 아닌 “되는 것”에 관한 것입니다. 하나님은 아브라함에게 “… 네게 복을 주어 … 너는 복이 될지라”(창 12:2)고 말씀하셨습니다. 이는 우리가 축복의 그릇이 되었다는 의미입니다. 당신은 당신의 가족, 도시, 나라, 세상에 대한 축복입니다. 당신은 하나님의 언약의 자비, 즉 히브리어 “헤세드”의 전달자입니다.
“헤세드”는 평범한 친절함이 아닙니다. 하나님의 언약의 사랑, 즉 그분의 호의, 선하심, 자비가 모두 하나로 뭉쳐진 것입니다. 당신이 친절을 베풀고, 빨리 용서하고, 사랑 안에서 행하고, 당신의 말과 행동으로 다른 사람들을 축복할 때, 당신은 “헤세드” 안에서 걷고 있는 것입니다. 당신은 아버지의 본성을 드러내고 있는 것입니다.
당신은 언약의 은혜를 운반하는 자입니다. 당신이 도착하면 하나님이 도착하시는 것입니다. 그분의 축복이 당신을 통해 흘러가서 삶을 변화시키고, 다른 사람들을 세우고, 그분의 이름을 영화롭게 합니다. 아브라함의 축복은 삶 전반에 걸친 번영, 풍성함, 다스림, 신성한 호의에 관한 언약이었습니다. 그 동일한 축복이 오늘 당신의 삶에서 역사하고 있습니다. 그 축복은 당신을 높이고, 번성케 하고, 승리 안에 당신을 세웁니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

나는 아브라함의 씨이며 하나님의 언약의 자비를 운반하는 자입니다. 나는 축복을 받았고, 축복 그 자체입니다. 하나님의 은혜와 선하심이 나를 통해 흘러가서 다른 사람들을 세우고, 환경을 바꾸고, 하나님께 영광을 드립니다. 나는 어디를 가든지 그분의 사랑을 나타내며 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

CARRIERS OF COVENANT KINDNESS
“And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed” (Acts 3:25).
When God called and blessed Abraham, the blessing was for the entire generations of mankind. The Lord declared, “In thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.” As referenced in our previous study, that seed is Christ, and all who are in Christ are partakers of that blessing.
Peter, speaking by the Spirit, told the Jews, “Ye are the children of the prophets and of the covenant” (Acts 3:25). He was calling attention to their divine heritage, one that included being heirs of God’s covenant with Abraham. Through Christ, this covenant has extended to the Gentiles—to anyone who comes to God through faith in Jesus Christ.
Furthermore, this covenant isn’t just about receiving; it’s about “becoming”; God told Abraham, “I will bless you and make you a blessing” (Genesis 12:2). That means we’ve become vessels of blessing. You’re a blessing to your family, city, nation, and your world. You’re the bearer of God’s covenant kindness; the Hebrew word is “hesed.”
“Hesed” is not ordinary kindness. It’s God’s covenant love—His favour, His goodness, His mercy—all wrapped into one. When you show kindness, forgive quickly, walk in love, and bless others with your words and actions, you’re walking in “hesed.” You’re revealing the nature of the Father.
You’re a carrier of covenant grace. When you arrive, God arrives. His blessing flows through you to turn lives around, lift others, and glorify His Name. The blessing of Abraham was a covenant of all-round prosperity, fruitfulness, dominion, and divine favour. That same blessing is at work in your life today. It lifts, multiplies, and establishes you in victory. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
I am the seed of Abraham and a carrier of God’s covenant kindness. I am blessed and I am a blessing. The grace and goodness of God flow through me to lift others, change atmospheres, and bring glory to God. I live to reveal His lovingkindness everywhere I go, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
