Blessed With Faithful Abraham
“… 이는 그리스도 예수 안에서 아브라함의 복이 이방인에게 미치게 하고 또 우리로 하여금 믿음으로 말미암아 성령의 약속을 받게 하려 함이라”(갈 3:13-14)
아브라함의 축복은 평범한 개념이 아닙니다. 아브라함의 축복은 복음의 기초입니다. 많은 사람이 아브라함의 축복을 물질적인 번영으로만 생각하지만, 그 축복은 훨씬 더 위대합니다. 아브라함의 축복은 하나님의 은혜와 언약의 친절함이 부어지는 것이며, 히브리어 “헤세드(hesed)”에서 번역되었습니다. 이 축복은 신성한 호의, 풍성함, 다스림, 그리고 가장 중요한 성령의 약속을 포함합니다.
하나님께서 아브라함을 부르셨을 때 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너로 큰 민족을 이루고 네게 복을 주어 네 이름을 창대하게 하리니 너는 복이 될지라 … 땅의 모든 족속이 너로 말미암아 복을 얻을 것이라 하신지라”(창 12:2-3). 이것은 복음에 대한 하나님의 예언적 선포였습니다. 이는 믿음을 통해 온 인류에게 하나님의 사랑과 선하심을 부어주려는 그분의 계획을 알리는 말씀이었습니다. 사도 바울은 이 축복이 이제 예수 그리스도를 통해 이방인에게 임했음을 분명히 했습니다.

BLESSED WITH FAITHFUL ABRAHAM
“…That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith” (Galatians 3:13-14).
The blessing of Abraham is no ordinary concept—it is the foundation of the Gospel. Many think of it only in terms of material prosperity, but it’s far greater. The blessing of Abraham is the outpouring of God’s grace, His covenant kindness, translated from the Hebrew word, “hesed.” It includes divine favour, fruitfulness, dominion, and most importantly, the promise of the Spirit.
When God called Abraham, He said, “I will bless you and make you a blessing… and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed” (Genesis 12:2-3). This was God’s prophetic declaration of the Gospel. It was the announcement of His plan to pour out His love and goodness on all humanity through faith. The Apostle Paul made it clear that this blessing has now come to the Gentiles through Jesus Christ.
Thus, if you’re in Christ, you’re Abraham’s seed and an heir according to the promise (Galatians 3:29). You’re the fulfilment of God’s promise to Abraham thousands of years ago. That blessing includes justification, righteousness, the Holy Spirit, and divine access to God’s fullness.
The Bible says, “So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham” (Galatians 3:9). When God made the promise to Abraham, it was to Abraham’s seed, which is Christ: “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ” (Galatians 3:16).
When you received Christ, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. That seal marks you as God’s own and guarantees your access to all the blessings and benefits of the Abrahamic covenant: “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). Walk in this consciousness. You’re not trying to be blessed; you’re blessed with faithful Abraham. Declare it. Live it. Spread blessings everywhere. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I’m the seed of Abraham, blessed and highly favoured in Christ Jesus. The blessing of Abraham is working in me—in my spirit, soul, and body. I have access to all that God has made available in Christ. I walk in divine health, prosperity, and victory today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
