성령님께 완전히 내어드리십시오
Be Completely Yielded To Him
“예언은 언제든지 사람의 뜻으로 낸 것이 아니요 오직 성령의 감동하심을 받은 사람들이 하나님께 받아 말한 것임이라”(벧후 1:21)
당신이 성령님께 자신을 내어드릴 때, 성령님께서 당신을 일으키십니다. 성령님께서 당신의 행동과 말을 인도하십니다. 저는 그런 경험을 처음 했을 때가 생각납니다. 저는 성령을 받고 집에 돌아왔고, 그날 저녁에 평소처럼 가족 예배를 드렸습니다. 평소처럼 각자 성경 구절을 읽고, 아버지께서 기도를 인도하시거나 다른 사람에게 기도를 시키셨습니다.
그날 성경을 다 읽은 후, 아버지는 제게 기도를 인도하라고 하셨습니다. 제가 기도하려고 입을 열자마자 저는 즉시 방언으로 말하기 시작했습니다. 그 방언은 크고 빨랐습니다. 저는 성령으로 충만해졌고, 예언하기 시작했습니다. 그런 일은 우리 가족 기도 시간에 일어난 적이 없었습니다.
또 다른 날, 저는 본당 뒤에 앉아 있었습니다. 당시 저는 어린 십대였지만, 집회가 진행되는 동안 하나님의 영이 내 안에 불을 붙이는 것을 느꼈습니다. 제가 알기도 전에 성령님은 저를 일으키셨고, 저는 방언으로 말하고 예언하기 시작했습니다. 교회 전체가 조용해졌지만 모두가 감동을 받고 세워졌습니다. 제가 끝냈을 때, 담임 목사님은 온 회중을 강렬한 기도의 시간으로 인도하셨습니다.
하나님의 영이 당신을 움직이실 때가 있습니다. 선지자 에스겔은 “주의 영이 내게 임하사 나를 일으켜 내 발로 세우시고…”(겔 3:24) 라고 말했습니다. 당신은 매일 성령님과 함께 그러한 영광스러운 순간을 경험할 수 있습니다. 그 비결은 성령님께 자신을 내어드리는 것입니다. 당신 안에 있는 그분의 불은 언제나 타오르고 있습니다. 그분은 영원히 당신 안에 계시며 당신과 함께 하십니다.
히브리서 13:5은 말합니다. “…내가 결코 너희를 버리지 아니하고 너희를 떠나지 아니하리라 하셨느니라” 그리고 마태복음 28:20은 말합니다. “…내가 세상 끝날까지 너희와 항상 함께 있으리라” 당신이 복음을 전하기 위해 병원, 감옥, 시장에 가고 싶다는 충동을 느꼈다면, 그것은 성령님께서 당신을 움직이신 것입니다. 그분께서 당신의 발걸음을 인도하셨습니다. 당신이 학급 친구들, 이웃, 직장 동료, 가족, 심지어 길에서 만난 낯선 사람들에게도 복음을 전하고 싶다는 생각이 들었다면, 그것은 성령님께서 당신을 움직이신 것입니다.
이것이 오늘날 당신의 삶에서 성령님의 사역입니다. 그분은 당신이 아버지의 뜻에 따라 말하고 행할 수 있도록 힘을 주십니다. 당신이 성령님께 완전히 내어드릴 때, 그분의 능력과 지혜가 당신을 통해 나타날 것입니다. 당신은 이 땅에서 하나님의 계획과 목적을 성취하기 위한 그분의 그릇입니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내 안에 거하시며 내가 말씀을 담대함과 능력으로 말하도록 역사하시는 성령님으로 인해 감사드립니다. 나는 항상 하나님의 인도와 신성한 영감에 내어져 있으며, 그리스도 안에서 하나님의 완전한 뜻과 나의 부르심을 성취하도록 항상 동기부여 됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BE COMPLETELY YIELDED TO HIM
“For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost” (2 Peter 1:21).
When you yield to the Holy Spirit, He stirs you up; He directs your actions and words. I remember the first time I experienced something like that. I had just returned home after receiving the Holy Spirit, and later that day we gathered for our usual family devotion. It followed the familiar routine where each person would read a verse of Scripture, then my dad would lead the prayer or assign any one of us to do so.
That day, after we had each read the Scriptures, my dad turned to me and asked me to lead the prayer. As I opened my mouth to pray, I instantly burst forth speaking in tongues. It was loud and fast. I was overwhelmed by the Spirit, and I began to prophesy. That had never happened during our family prayer times.
On another occasion, I was sitting in the back of the main church, a young teenager at the time, but I felt the Spirit of God ignite a fire within me as the meeting was going on. Before I knew it, He set me on my feet and I began speaking in tongues and prophesying. The whole church went quiet, but everyone was inspired and edified. When I was done, the senior pastor led the whole congregation into a session of intense prayers.
There’re moments like that when the Spirit of God moves you. The Prophet Ezekiel said, “Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet…” (Ezekiel 3:24). You can experience such glorious moments with the Holy Spirit every day; the key is being yielded to Him. His fire in you is ever glowing. He’s in you and with you forever.
He said in Hebrews 13:5, “…I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Then in Matthew 28:20 (NKJV), He said, “…lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” All the while you had the urge, and then went ahead to visit hospitals, prisons, the marketplaces of life to preach, it was the Holy Spirit stirring you. He was the one guiding your steps. When you felt compelled to witness to your classmates, your neighbours, colleagues at work, family members and even strangers you met on the way, it was the Holy Spirit stirring you.
This is His ministry in your life today; He empowers you to speak and act according to the Father’s will. As you remain completely yielded to Him, His power and wisdom will be expressed through you. You’re His vessel for the fulfilment of His plans and purposes in the earth.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit who lives in me and moves me to speak your words with boldness and power. I’m always yielded to your guidance and divine inspiration, stirred always to fulfil your perfect will and my calling in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
