사랑은 진정한 가치를 보고 감사하는 것입니다
Love Sees And Appreciates True Value
“사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라”(요일 4:8)
어떤 사람들은 사랑을 감정 또는 외모에 따라 해석합니다. 그러나 참된 사랑은 인간의 감정이나 애정으로 정의되지 않습니다. 사랑은 하나님의 본성이기 때문입니다. 따라서 하나님의 눈으로 볼 때만 다른 사람들의 진정한 가치를 인식하고 감사할 수 있습니다.
하나님께서 인류의 구원을 위해 예수님을 주셨을 때도 동일한 일이 일어났습니다. 하나님께서는 우리의 진정한 가치를 보셨습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 그를 믿는 자마다 멸망하지 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라”(요 3:16) 하나님께서는 사물, 건물, 자연의 세상을 사랑하신 것이 아닙니다. 그분은 불신앙, 조롱, 악함에도 불구하고 사람들의 세상을 사랑하셨습니다.
로마서 5:8에서 “우리가 아직 죄인 되었을 때에 그리스도께서 우리를 위하여 죽으심으로 하나님께서 우리에 대한 자기의 사랑을 확증하셨느니라”고 말하는 것은 당연합니다.
성경은 말합니다. “곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며 그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고 화목하게 하는 말씀을 우리에게 부탁하셨느니라”(고후 5:19) 하나님께서 당신에게 주신 생명과 본성은 동일합니다. 당신은 다른 사람들이 어떻게 행동하거나 어떻게 보이는지 상관없이 그들을 사랑해야 합니다. 그들의 진정한 가치를 보고 감사하십시오.
예수님은 이를 보셨고, 우리가 그 사실을 이해하고 적용하도록 우리를 가르치고 계십니다. 하나님께서 죄인을 너무나 사랑하신다면, 우리와 함께 그리스도 안에 있는 사람들을 얼마나 더 사랑하시겠습니까? 그래서 예수님은 “내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이 너희도 서로 사랑하라”(요 13:34)고 말씀하셨습니다. 그분은 “사랑할 만한 사람이라면 서로 사랑하라”고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다.
당신은 당신의 사랑에 보답하지 않는 사람들까지도 사랑해야 합니다. 그들의 거절이 당신의 사랑을 멈추게 해서는 안 됩니다. 이것이 바로 하나님과 같은 종류의 사랑입니다. 이 사랑은 무조건적입니다. 이 사랑은 다른 사람들의 진정한 가치를 보고 감사하는 것입니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 겉모습과 행동 너머를 보시는 아버지의 사랑에 감사드립니다. 나는 사람들의 진정한 가치를 보고, 하나님이 그들을 사랑하시는 것처럼 사랑합니다. 나는 신성한 사랑 안에서 행하며, 하나님이 나를 사랑하신 것처럼 모든 사람에게 은혜와 친절을 베풉니다. 나에게 하나님처럼 사랑하고 많은 사람을 하나님의 진리에 대한 지식으로 인도하도록 가르쳐 주시니 감사합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

LOVE SEES AND APPRECIATES TRUE VALUE
“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love” (1 John 4:8).
Some people interpret love according to feelings, emotions or outward appearance. But true love isn’t defined by human emotions or affections because love is the nature of God. Therefore, it’s only when you see through the eyes of God that you can truly recognize and appreciate the true value of others.
That was what happened when God gave Jesus for the salvation of humanity. He saw our true value. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). He didn’t love the world of things, buildings, or nature; He loved the world of men despite their unbelief, mockery and wickedness.
No wonder the Bible says in Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” The Bible says “…God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them” (2 Corinthians 5:19 NIV). That’s the same life and nature He’s given you; you’re to love others in spite of what they do or how they look. See and appreciate their true value.
That’s what Jesus saw, and that’s what He’s raising us to understand and apply. If God would love the sinner so much, how much more should we love those who are in Christ with us? That’s why He says, “Love one another, as I have loved you” (John 13:34). He didn’t say, “Love one another, as long as they’re lovable.”
You’re to love even those who don’t reciprocate your love. Their rejection shouldn’t stop your love. This is the God-kind of love; it’s unconditional. It sees and appreciates the true value of others.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your love that sees beyond outward appearances and actions. I see the true value of people, and I love them the way you do. I walk in this divine love, extending grace and kindness to all, just as you have loved me. Thank you for teaching me to love like you and bring many to the knowledge of your truth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
